Job summary

Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust in Liverpool is recruiting a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to join a Psychology service within a Community Mental Health Team. You will provide specialist CBT to clients with complex mental health issues, working in a multidisciplinary team and contributing to both 1:1 and group therapy sessions.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in CBT with BABCP accreditation.
• Experience delivering 1:1 and group CBT interventions.
• Ability to work autonomously within professional guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist psychological assessment and CBT treatment to clients with complex mental health difficulties.
• Deliver 1:1 and group CBT interventions within a MDT setting.
• Participate in weekly MDT, Psychology and business meetings and multidisciplinary activities.
• Work autonomously within professional guidelines and team policies.
• Contribute to referrals, risk assessment and treatment planning within the service.
