Bristol Park Clinic (Aztec West):
Situated in the north of Bristol, near Bradley Stoke and Patchway. It is close to the M4, M5 motorways and the Almondsbury Interchange. The clinic is easily accessible by car, bus, and train, making it a convenient location for both staff and clients.

Bristol Park Clinic is looking to recruit a CBT Therapist to our Private outpatient therapy service onsite. This is a full-time permanent position, which is an exciting opportunity to provide high quality psychological therapy services within the service.

Main duties of the job:
  • Working in the outpatient team to provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) assessment, formulation, and treatment to clients.
  • To work closely with relevant other professionals as appropriate.
  • To communicate in a skilled and sensitive manner, information concerning the assessment, formulation, and treatment plans to clients.
  • To undertake risk assessment and risk management of service users.
Job responsibilities:
  • To provide CBT based assessment, formulation, and treatment for people experiencing mental health difficulties.
  • Undertaking and managing a clinical caseload in accordance with operational policy.
  • Attend monthly clinical supervision to develop knowledge, skills, and promote access to clinical excellence.
  • High levels of clinical governance are expected, including all documentation as required by the service.
Person Specification:
  • Education/Qualifications: Doctoral Clinical/Counselling Psychology with BABCP accreditation or working towards this. Or, registered health professional and BABCP Accredited.
  • Assessed experience of working as a qualified CBT therapist or experience of working in mental health delivering CBT treatment.
  • Able to deliver interventions to a wide range of clients.
