Condition Monitoring Engineer - Newark Factory

We are seeking a Condition Monitoring Engineer to join our Engineering Support team at Newark factory. The primary role of the CBM Engineer is to lead the application and use of condition monitoring techniques to improve equipment condition knowledge across the site. This will help inform maintenance schedules to enhance overall equipment effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Select and utilize condition monitoring techniques based on best practices, in collaboration with engineering experts.
  2. Serve as the site subject matter expert for techniques such as vibration analysis, thickness testing, thermography, oil analysis, and ultrasonic testing.
  3. Translate CBM data into actionable plans to improve equipment reliability.
  4. Manage vibration analysis activities, including conducting VA routes and interpreting results.
  5. Oversee lubrication processes and manage the lubrication technician.
  6. Develop and review condition monitoring routines and routes.
  7. Train maintenance technicians in applicable condition monitoring techniques.
  8. Maintain current knowledge of monitoring techniques and communicate effectively within the team.
  9. Adhere to the highest health and safety standards and collaborate effectively with team members.
Candidate Profile:
  • Background as a mechanically biased engineer or technician with apprentice or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of CAT-I training in Vibration Analysis; CAT-II or equivalent experience is desirable.
  • Experience working with heavy industrial equipment in complex manufacturing environments.
  • Proven experience in coordinating proactive maintenance processes.
  • Experience delivering CBM activities across multiple work areas and times.
  • Ability to manage complex requirements and build strong professional relationships.
