Up to £50,000 per annum depending on experience

37.5 hours per week

As a senior Cath lab Rotational Radiographer, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills, contribute to service improvements, and work with advanced equipment, especially in cardiac imaging with Siemens technology.

As a Senior Rotational Radiographer, you will:

• Hold a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent, with postgraduate qualifications or high technical knowledge.
• Provide empathetic, individualized patient care.
• Respect all individuals including staff, patients, and visitors.
• Be proactive and forward-thinking.
• Ensure high-quality, compassionate service delivery.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging across various teams and modalities.
• Proficiently operate all relevant equipment within scope of practice.
• Collaborate with leading practitioners using cutting-edge facilities.
• Possess basic skills in general X-ray.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff.
• Work within IRMER guidelines and HCPC codes of conduct.
• Participate in on-call duties (must be able to attend site within one hour).
• Engage in departmental audits and QA programs.
• Support Clinical Lead Radiographers.
• Ensure equipment safety and report faults.
• Competency in IV cannulation is essential for CT/MRI radiographers.
• Contribute to policy reviews and departmental updates.
• Adhere to Nuffield Health policies and maintain accurate records.
