Job summary

Intermountain Health in Grand Junction, Colorado, seeks a CV Invasive Specialist I to support cardiac catheterization procedures in a 4-lab program. You will work as part of a tight-knit team including an RN, scrub tech, and additional staff, handling invasive, diagnostic, and interventional tasks with supervision as needed.

This role requires BLS and PALS/ACLS within 3 months, a health‑science related degree or radiologic/cardiovascular training, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• BLS and PALS/ACLS certifications required or obtained within 3 months.
• Bachelor’s degree in health science or related program completed.
• Healthcare experience through cath lab, EP, EMT, Paramedic, or nursing.
• License as required by state and cath lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure room and post-procedure turnaround.
• Manage invasive, diagnostic and interventional supplies; assist inventory.
• Provide patient education and emotional support; foster teamwork.
• Assess patient condition; document deviations during procedures.
• Understand x-ray principles; operate imaging equipment safely.
• May administer medications under physician supervision.
• Apply closure devices, secure hemostasis as needed.
• Document procedures and events; maintain CathLab data.
• Scrub, circulate, monitor in diagnostic/interventional/CathPCI work.
