Zusammenfassung

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC Health) is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technician/RCIS for our Cardiovascular Cath Lab. You will assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures, scrub and provide technical support, and monitor hemodynamics and rhythms throughout the cases.

Requires ARRT/RCIS/CCI certification or SC licensure, BLS, and an Associate's degree or equivalent.

Qualifikationen

Associate's degree or equivalent required.
ARRT and certified RCIS/CCI or SC license required.
AHA BLS certification required.

Aufgaben

Assist Cardiologists with invasive diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
Scrub and provide technical support during cardiac catheterization and vascular procedures.
Monitor and document hemodynamic status and cardiac rhythms.
Operate cath lab imaging, fluoroscopy, monitoring, and procedural equipment.
Prepare sterile fields, instruments, equipment, and supplies.
Recognize cardiac arrhythmias and respond quickly during emergencies.
Assist with defibrillation, temporary pacing, and other emergency interventions.
Educate and reassure patients throughout their procedural experience.
Maintain radiation safety, infection prevention, and patient safety standards.
