Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Temporary Relief Chef Manager to provide long‑term cover at Cherry Tree School. The role starts 1 September 2026 for at least six months and operates term‑time only with no weekends, offering flexibility for school‑based hours.

Based at the school site, you will prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink standards, ensure Health and Safety and Food Safety compliance, supervise teams, manage inventories and budgets, and support day‑to‑day operations to maintain excellent

Job Description

We are hiring for a Temporary ReliefChef Manager to provide cover long term cover at Cherry Tree School. The role is for a minimum of 6 months starting 1st September 2026, but will likely be extended. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

With a number of sites in the area, this role may progress into further work within the Caterlink family.

The role:

• £13.85per hour
• 32.5hours per week working Monday – Friday
• Term-time only – working 38weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
