Job summary

Caterlink, the education sector catering specialist, is hiring a Relief Catering Assistant for the Plymouth and Tavistock area. The role is term-time only with 15 hours per week and requires your own transport for mobile duties.

Salary is £12.71 per hour, with 38 weeks worked per year. Duties include supporting Catering Manager, upholding Food Safety and Health & Safety standards, and assisting with daily location operations and inventory control.

• To help the Catering Manager prepare and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity
• To ensure that the company's reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To support with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans

Job Description

We are hiring for a Relief Catering Assistant to provide cover in the Plymouth and Tavistock area to support our existing site-based teams. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

This role will be a mobile-based role so you will therefore need to have your own transport.

The role:

• £12.71per hour
• 15 hours per week working Monday - Friday
• Term-time only - working 38weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• To help the Catering Manager prepare and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
