Job summary

Caterlink is seeking a Chef at Dean Trust Rose Bridge, Wigan. This term-time only role offers 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with no weekends. The position is UK-based and pays £15.50 per hour.

The successful candidate will prepare, cook and present meals to Caterlink and client standards, ensuring food safety practices and paperwork are completed with integrity, while supporting location operations and cost control.

Qualifications

• Desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
• Level 2 NVQ professional cookery or equivalent.
• Food Safety.
• Health and Safety.

Responsibilities

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity.
• To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To support your line manager with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans.

Job Description

We are hiring for a Chef at Dean Trust Rose Bridge, Wiganwho wants to ensure our future generations are provided with nutritionally balanced and tasty food. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

The role: Chef

• £15.50per hour
• 32.5hours per week working Monday – Friday
• Term-time only – working 38weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
