Job summary

Caterlink, the education sector catering specialist, invites applications for a part-time Chef at Acland Burghley School, London. Working term-time only, 25 hours per week, Monday–Friday with no weekends, and a pay rate of £15.50 per hour.

You will prepare, cook and present meals to Caterlink and client standards, follow Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures, manage inventories and budgets with your line manager, and help maintain a safe, inclusive kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing and presenting food to specified standards.
• Ability to follow Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures.
• Complete and maintain mandatory paperwork accurately.
• Support inventory control and budgeting under supervision.

Responsibilities

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity.
• To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To support your line manager with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans.

Job Description

We are hiring for a Chef at Acland Burghley School, London who wants to ensure our future generations are provided with nutritionally balanced and tasty food. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

The role:

• £15.50per hour
• 25hours per week working Monday – Friday
• Term-time only

Your key responsibilities will include:

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity
