Job Description

We are hiring a Catering Manager at Parkside Primary School, Sturry who is passionate about providing nutritionally balanced and tasty food for future generations. This role is term-time only, with no weekends, offering great flexibility.

The Role

  • £13.48 per hour
  • 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Term-time only – 39 weeks per year

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements for Health and Safety, Food Safety, and environmental legislation
  • Enhancing the company's reputation for excellent food and service with clients and customers by exceeding expectations
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the location, supervising teams, managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
  • Being the main point of contact for the client at your school, recommending and implementing improvements
  • Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and financial targets
  • Supporting and training teams, leading to ensure everyone can excel in their roles through training and performance management
