Job description

We are hiring for a Catering Manager at Parkside, Canterbury who is passionate about providing nutritionally balanced and tasty food for future generations. This role is term-time only and involves no weekends, making it ideal for those seeking flexibility.

The role includes:

  • £13.48 per hour or up to £20,000 per annum
  • 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Term-time only – 43 weeks per year

Your key responsibilities:

  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting food to Caterlink and client standards
  • Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety, Food Safety, and environmental legislation
  • Enhancing the company's reputation through excellent food and service
  • Managing daily operations, supervising teams, inventory, budgets, and action plans
  • Serving as the primary contact for the client, recommending and implementing improvements
  • Monitoring KPIs and financial targets with your line manager
  • Supporting and training team members to excel in their roles
