Caterlink is hiring a Catering Assistant for Truro College in Truro. This term-time role covers a variety of food production tasks and meal service within school environments. The position is Monday to Friday, offering 32.5 hours per week at £12.71 per hour.

The role focuses on food preparation, service, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety across kitchen and dining areas, with training provided as needed.

Job Description

We are hiring for a Catering Assistant at Truro College, Truroto perform a variety of food production tasks along with food service in our schools. This role is working term-time only, so is great for those looking for flexibility.

The role:

• £12.71per hour
• 32.5hours per week working Monday – Friday
• Term-time only – working 36weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation of tasty food and snacks
• Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures
• Keeping the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state
• Providing a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers
• Representing Caterlink and maintaining a positive brand image
