Job summary

Caterlink in Brighton is hiring several Catering Assistants to perform food production and service in our schools. This term-time only role offers flexible hours, with 10–22.5 hours per week across 38 weeks per year.

You will help prepare meals, follow health and safety standards, keep kitchens clean, and provide friendly, hygienic service to pupils and staff, representing Caterlink with a positive image.

Job Description

We are hiring for anumber of Catering Assistants to work in schools across Brighton and Hoveto perform a variety of food production tasks along with food service in our schools. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

The role:

• £13.45per hour
• Hours varying from 10 to 22.5 hoursper week working Monday – Friday
• Term-time only – working 38 weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation of tasty food and snacks
• Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures
• Keeping the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state
• Providing a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers
• Representing Caterlink and maintaining a positive brand image
