Job Description:

We are hiring for 2 Catering Assistants at Long Road Sixth Form College, Cambridge, to perform a variety of food production tasks along with food service in our schools. This role is working term-time only, with no weekends, making it ideal for those seeking flexibility. Start date: 01/09/25.

The role includes:

  • £12.60 per hour
  • 20 hours per week, working Monday – Friday, hours 10-2 or 11-3
  • Term-time only – working 38 weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of tasty food and snacks
  • Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures
  • Keeping the kitchen, counter, and restaurant areas clean and tidy
  • Providing friendly, efficient, and hygienic service to all customers
  • Representing Caterlink and maintaining a positive brand image
