Job summary

Caterlink is seeking an Assistant Chef at St Bede's Primary School in Rotherham to deliver nutritionally balanced, tasty meals. You should be organised, hardworking and passionate about food quality, presentation and service, while maintaining high safety standards.

The role offers £12.71 per hour for 23 hours per week, term-time only (38 weeks per year). You will assist with planning, preparing and cooking meals and ensure excellent food and service for students and staff, with DBS disclosure

The company caters more than 1,000,000 meals a week. We are looking for an Assistant Chef at St Bede's Primary School, Rotherhamwho wants to ensure our future generations are provided with nutritionally balanced and tasty food. We are looking for an organised, hard-working and passionate individual to ensure that the food quality, presentation and service are provided to the required standard. You should be passionate about delivering an efficient service to our students whilst ensuring we maintain great customer service and high food safety standards.

The role:

• £12.71 per hour
• 23 hours per week working Monday – Friday
• Term-time only – working 38 weeks per year

You will assist with all planning, preparing and cooking of meals to the required standard and you will ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers. Other tasks will include briefing kitchen teams on menus and service, ensuring all food safety and health and safety procedures are applied continuously and carry out company bookwork.
