Job Description

We are seeking an Assistant Chef passionate about providing nutritionally balanced and tasty food for future generations. The ideal candidate will be organized, hardworking, and dedicated to ensuring food quality, presentation, and service meet high standards. You should be committed to delivering efficient service, maintaining excellent customer service, and adhering to high food safety standards.

This role involves working 25 hours per week during term time, at a rate of £13.21 per hour.

Your responsibilities include assisting with meal planning, preparation, and cooking, ensuring the company’s reputation for quality food and service is upheld. Additional duties include briefing kitchen teams on menus and service, enforcing food safety and health and safety procedures, and managing company documentation.

Caterlink is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults. An enhanced DBS disclosure will be required for this role.
