Job Description

We are hiring for an Assistant Chef at Leeds College of Building, Leeds who wants to ensure our future generations are provided with nutritionally balanced and tasty food. This role is working term-time only and no weekends, making it ideal for those seeking flexibility.

The role includes:

  • £12.90 per hour
  • 30 hours per week, Monday – Friday
  • Term-time only – working 38 weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
  • Following all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures and completing all mandatory paperwork accurately
  • Enhancing the company’s reputation for excellent food and service by exceeding client and customer expectations
  • Supporting your line manager with daily operations, including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
