Eligibility to participate in CE is generally linked to individuals who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more, or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will need to be verified by the Department.

The Edenderry Youth Café is recruiting catering workers for a busy youth center in Edenderry. The successful candidate will be required to cook and serve food deli-style throughout the year (pastry sausage rolls, chicken fillets, sausages, etc.).
This role also involves working alongside the manager to stock, serve, and clean the youth café. Work hours will involve an early start (7:30 am) on three mornings a week. Other ad hoc duties may be assigned.
The CE scheme requires 19.5 hours of work per week. Payment depends on your underlying payment from DSP, with a top-up payment of €27.50 provided.
