Are you a warm, welcoming, and organised individual who thrives in a people-focused environment? We’re looking for a Casual Worker to join our Skills for Life team, supporting our Tutors who run sessions in Catering & Hospitality skills. You may also have the opportunity to pick up shifts in our other departments if you wish: Horticulture, Woodwork, Catering & Hospitality, Creative Arts, Retail Skills and Communication.

Pay: £12.21 per hour plus holiday pay on top.

Hours: A typical casual worker day is 9am - 4.30pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch. Our skills sessions run Monday - Friday.

By joining the casual worker team, you have the freedom to accept shifts that fit in with your lifestyle. Ideally you would have experience in an area of catering or baking.

Full training will be given.

About The Role

You will support the Catering Tutors to run training sessions in basic cooking and baking skills to small groups of adults with learning disabilities, typically no more than 4 people at a time. You may also support the Tutors in our onsite café who run training sessions preparing and serving drinks and meals throughout the day.

You will need patience, empathy and good time keeping skills.
