Job summary

Corbrook Park Care Home is seeking a friendly Chef Support to assist the kitchen team in preparing meals for residents at Corbrook Park Nursing Home, Audlem. You will help with meal preparation, maintain a clean kitchen, and ensure dietary requirements are met in a caring environment.

No prior health-care kitchen experience is required, but a willingness to learn and team spirit are essential. Flexible hours across Monday to Sunday will be available, with on-site duties at the care home.

Chef Support BANK

Various hours available (Monday to Sunday)

Location: Corbrook Park Nursing Home, Audlem, CW3 0HF

Our team at Corbrook Parkare looking to recruit a friendly and enthusiastic Chef Support to assist with delivering quality meals to our residents in the care home. This is a perfect opportunity to gain some experience within the kitchen or perhaps the development of a new career in catering. You will be helping to ensure that our residents dietary requirements are met.

Responsibilities of the Chef Support:
As a Chef Support; you will be taking an active role in supporting the Chef with the preparation and delivery of meals for residents. As well as preparing fresh ingredients for various meals, you will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen area that adheres to both Health and Safety regulations and the exemplary standards of the home.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen environment
• Cleaning all crockery, cutlery and food preparation equipment
• Assist in preparation of meals for service
• Prepare food and ingredients for service.

Desirable Skills and Experience of the Chef Support
We provide support for your role as Chef Support from our friendly team. Previous experience within a health care setting is not essential; however, may prepare you better for the role.
