Salary: £16,859.50 per annum (actual salary, pro-rata from £26,619 FTE)

Role Responsibilities You ll play a vital role in supporting both the operational and educational sides of the catering department.
Key duties include:- Preparing and serving refreshments at college meetings and events
- Providing front-of-house service in the on-site training restaurant
- Assisting with routine cleaning and maintenance of kitchen and front-of-house areas
- Supporting tutors and student groups during practical classes
- Setting up and closing down kitchens before and after use
- Recording food temperatures and ensuring safe storage of ingredients
- Maintaining high food hygiene standards across all areas
- Supporting broader catering operations within the college
About You
To succeed in this role, you will:
- Hold a current Food Hygiene Certificate
- Have previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant environment
- Be organised, proactive, and enjoy working as part of a team
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, educational setting
- Bring a friendly and professional attitude to student-facing responsibilities
