Catering Technician

30 Hours - Term Time 38 weeks

The Catering Technician will work as part of a team to assist in the day to day running of the front of house operations as well as the running of the kitchens and restaurant, kitchen porter duties. The Catering Technician will also support the tutors and student groups to provide a supportive and engaging experience for the students. Duties will include:

•Preparing and serving hospitality refreshments at college meetings and events

•Waiting on in our Wheel restaurant and at college meetings and events

•Routine cleaning duties in kitchens and front of house areas

•Supporting other catering operations in a college

•Setting up kitchens for classes

•Closing down Kitchens after classes

•Recording of temperatures and safe storage of foods

•Maintaining food hygiene standards.
