Blakenall Heath Junior School is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Catering Supervisor. Catering Supervisor required for 1st September 2025
30.0 hrs each week, Mon to Fri 7.45am – 1.45pm
(Please note that work hours are indicative of the requirements of the post. Start and end times may vary (within the hours stated) dependant on the needs of the service)
Term Time only plus 1 week and Inset days (equivalent to 40 weeks per year)
Salary – G5 Point 9-17 (£19,172-£21,822 pro rata approx.)

We are looking for well-motivated and enthusiastic applicants to join our team of very dedicated staff, in delivering nourishing school meals to its pupils. We are looking for someone with great enthusiasm and energy to drive our new venture of producing school meals in our own well equipped school kitchen and make dinner time a happy occasion for children.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the catering arrangements at the School. Duties will include:

Applicants should have proven history of good quality food production and customer service and should hold an NVQ level 2 or 3 in a catering area or City & Guilds 706/1 706/2 or equivalent, and will be required to undertake the basic food hygiene certificate, for which full training will be given, if required.
