Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a dedicated Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of operations in Universities on a full time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week. You will oversee a team, ensure high quality work, and have opportunities for career progression within a company that values its people.

The ideal candidate will have prior supervisory experience in a similar environment, strong customer service skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to stay positive under pressure.

• Experience supervising frontline teams in a similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Check and store deliveries promptly and correctly.
• Supervise a team and create a welcoming, supportive environment.
• Act as a responsible key holder.
• Assist with weekly bookwork and other duties as needed.
• Produce weekly rotas following manager's guidelines.
• Place orders to maintain stock levels.
• Delegate and ensure the team stays proactive.
• Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations.

Your key responsibilities may include:

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
