Catering Supervisor - Newchurch Primary School
About us

Warrington Borough Council School Meals provide services to 67 schools, we have a team of over 270 staff serving primary children in the area.

The role

We are looking for a talented Catering Supervisor for Newchurch Primary School. They will be responsible for planning, cooking of meals, portion control, amendment of menus, and provision of special diets (where advised). Supervise, direct and induct all kitchen staff in the methods of production, service and standards required in a nominated School Meals Catering Outlet, including organisation of work rotas. This role is 27.50 hours per week, term time only, plus 4 days.

What's needed?
  • Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills
  • City & Guilds 705/706/1&2 or NVQ Level 1/2/3
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety /COSHH and Food Safety Management Systems and Food Safety Regulations
