Compass Group UK&I, part of ESS Defence, is recruiting a Catering Supervisor to lead our catering team on shift. The role: 37.5 hours per week, contracted to 50.2 weeks per year, with duties from open to close to keep food great and service slick.

Ideal candidates will have supervisory experience, a Basic Food Hygiene certificate, and excellent communication and organisational skills. Compass offers a comprehensive benefits package and pension support.

About the role

We're currently recruiting a Catering Supervisor to join Defence on a full time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week.

You'll lead our catering team on shift, keeping the food great, the service slick and the team motivated from open to close.

Please note: This role is contracted to 50.2 weeks per year

What you'll do

• Supervising our catering team on shift to keep delivering impeccable food and customer service
• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards
• Supporting and training the team, leading by example so everyone can excel
• Liaising between customers and the team to keep exceeding expectations
• Keeping your manager up to date on how each shift is going
• Making sure the team follows Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards on every shift
