Job summary

Compass Group PLC is recruiting a Catering Supervisor to join Gather and Gather on a full-time basis in Manchester. You will lead the catering team on shift, ensuring high-quality food and service from open to close.

The role involves supervising the team, preparing food to high standards, training staff, and maintaining strict Food Hygiene and Safety standards while keeping customers and managers informed.

Qualifications

• Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service.
• Have experience supervising a catering team.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate, or be willing to gain one.
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Stay calm and positive under pressure.
• Be motivated and always looking to learn.

Responsibilities

• Supervising our catering team on shift to keep delivering impeccable food and customer service.

• Liaising between customers and the team to keep exceeding expectations.
• Keeping your manager up to date on how each shift is going.

About the role

We're currently recruiting a Catering Supervisor to join Gather and Gather on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, days.

You'll lead our catering team on shift, keeping the food great, the service slick and the team motivated from open to close.

• Supporting and training the team, leading by example so everyone can excel
• Liaising between customers and the team to keep exceeding expectations
