Job summary

Chartwells Independent is recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor for a part‑time role (32 hours per week) to oversee kitchens and service counters, ensuring exceptional food experiences. You will lead culinary teams, monitor KPIs, and uphold Health & Safety standards while representing the Chartwells brand with pride.

You should have at least two years in catering, a Basic Food Hygiene certificate, and strong communication and organizational skills to drive service excellence across

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to ensure delivery of impeccable food and customer service.
• Communicating regularly with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Liaising between customers and our culinary and service teams to ensure we exceed expectations.
• Supporting and training our teams, leading from the front to enable excellence.
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all teams.

We're recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor who is passionate about exceptional food and world-class customer service, and who can confidently oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for Chartwells on a part time basis, contracted to 32 hours per week.
