Job summary

Bolton College is seeking a Catering Store Assistant to maintain efficient operations within the catering stores, monitor stock levels and notify the Procurement Assistant when items need replenishing. You will work closely with the curriculum catering team to prepare and set up ingredients, equipment, and resources in the training kitchens according to lesson plans and course needs.

• Maintain efficient operations within the catering stores, including monitoring stock levels and notifying the Procurement Assistant when items need replenishing.
• Work closely with the curriculum catering team to prepare and set up ingredients, equipment, and resources in the training kitchens according to lesson plans and course needs.
• Carry out routine checks on equipment, cleaning supplies, stationery, and uniform stocks.
• Support the wider catering team in delivering excellent customer service to learners, colleagues, and visitors.

As an individual you will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk, and will therefore be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
