Job summary

Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a part-time Catering Stores role based in Huddersfield. The post runs 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 1:30pm, with occasional bank holidays and weekends.

A basic food hygiene certificate and good English and math skills are essential. The role involves stock control, HACCP documentation, goods inwards, liaising with suppliers and safe handling of deliveries.

Qualifications

• Basic Food hygiene certificate is required.
• Basic English and maths are required.
• Good food hygiene practices expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hygiene and safety in line with HACCP and department policies.
• Record fridge temps, prepare logs and cleaning schedules.
• Manage stock control and goods inwards using stock systems.
• Liaise with suppliers and handle order enquiries and deliveries.
• Accurate picking, packing and delivery of goods to correct locations.
