Post Title: Catering Services Officer

Location: Carrs Corner Roads Depot, Fort William

Hours: 35 Hours Per Week

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £38,474 - £41,714 p.a.

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: To assist the Catering Operational Manager in the effective and efficient operational management of the Highland Council Catering Service, which encompasses Education, Civic, and Commercial outlets.

To provide effective management supervision of the day-to-day delivery and growth of high-quality catering services.

Requirements
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., HNC/HND/SVQ or NVQ) or appropriate proven working experience of a minimum of 3 years.
  • Food Safety qualification.
  • Extensive management experience specific to the catering industry within the public or private sector.
  • Relevant Health and Safety and Food Safety knowledge.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Schools (Health Promotion & Nutrition) (Scotland) Act and related responsibilities.
