Location: Fort William
Hours: 35 Hours Per Week
Duration: Fixed Term
Salary: £38,474 - £41,714 p.a.

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: To assist the Catering Operational Manager in the effective and efficient operational management of the day-to-day delivery of the Highland Council Catering Service, which includes Education, Civic, and Commercial outlets.

To provide effective supervision and management of the day-to-day delivery and growth of high-quality catering services.

Requirements
  • Relevant professional qualification such as HNC/HND/SVQ or NVQ, or proven relevant work experience of at least 3 years.
  • Food Safety qualification.
  • Extensive management experience specific to the catering industry within the public or private sector.
  • Knowledge of and understanding of Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations.
  • Understanding of the Schools (Health Promotion & Nutrition) (Scotland) Act and related responsibilities.
