Job summary

TechMet Ltd. in Belfast is seeking a Catering Service Engineer to join the service team and uphold our high standards of customer service.

The role invites experienced catering equipment engineers and Gas Safe plumbers willing to complete required commercial gas qualifications with full support for training. Essential criteria include post-apprenticeship experience with commercial catering equipment, COMCAT 1-5 (or 1-3), Gas Safe registration, driving licence, and strong teamwork and

• Highly customer focused, presentable and possessing strong communication skills.
• A high level of awareness of Health & Safety in the workplace (CSR as a minimum required).
• Possess Maths & English GCSE’s (or equivalent).
• Full clean driving license.

CATERING SERVICE ENGINEER, BELFAST

This is a superb opportunity to join a well-established and reputable business seeking to add an additional Service Engineer, within the Service team to deliver the company’s exceptional customer service standards.

The role will appeal to experienced Service Engineers from the Catering Equipment sector. Our client will also consider applications from Gas Safe registered Plumbers keen to move into the sector and who are willing to complete the Commercial Catering Gas qualifications required for the role, with the assistance of a fully supported training package.

Essential Criteria:

• Post-apprenticeship experience in the installation, maintenance and servicing of all types of commercial catering equipment




• Possess the following industry standard qualifications:

Desirable Criteria:

• F-Gas qualification to permit work on refrigeration equipment




• Electrical knowledge (qualifications an added advantage)
