As a Catering Staff at Sodexo at one of our prestigious schools in beautiful Hurstpierpoint College, 'Hurst Street', Hassocks, West Sussex, BN6 9JS, you will be an integral part of our kitchen team, reporting directly to the Head Chef. You will be a team player, making a difference each and every day. Your passion for food and organizational excellence will help support an entire food and beverage production. Your passion for cleanliness, hygiene, and safety will help create a safe environment for all within the school. What you’ll do:

• Be passionate about catering within our school, ensuring a hygienic and healthy environment for students, colleagues, and visitors at all times
• Provide the highest quality of food service
• Prepare and cook orders requiring short and broader preparation time
• Show genuine enthusiasm for cooking and a commitment to providing high-quality dining experiences for students, staff, or visitors
• Develop and present innovative and appealing dishes catering to various tastes and dietary requirements
• Operate a variety of kitchen equipment
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, creating a safe environment for all within the school
• Use equipment and chemicals safely, following company guidelines
