To organise and supervise the unit in accordance with the standards required by Compass Group UK & Ireland, the contract specification, and statutory regulations. To be responsible for the overall efficient management of the unit, ensuring a quality service. Oversee the preparation, cooking, and service of food to meet standards and specifications. Use resources, including stock, team members, and assets, efficiently and economically.

• Providing strategic guidance to organise and manage the business through your team
• Previous contract catering experience
• Communicating, motivating, and guiding your management team and catering staff daily
• Setting operational responsibilities and monitoring performance
• Taking responsibility for food safety and health & safety procedures
• Maintaining regular communication with the client
• Completing action plans based on customer satisfaction surveys
• Promoting the unit and acting as a Compass Group advocate
• Managing internal and external stakeholder relationships
• Ensuring delivery of client hospitality to standards and seeking feedback
• Identifying opportunities to enhance service quality
• Bringing innovation and flair to the role
• Operating within the budget, monitoring trends, and implementing corrective actions as needed
• Ensuring all customer requirements are met satisfactorily
