As a manager, you will organize and supervise the unit according to Compass Group UK & Ireland standards, contract specifications, and statutory regulations. You will be responsible for the efficient management of the unit, ensuring a high-quality service, overseeing food preparation, cooking, and service to standards, and making effective use of resources including stock, staff, and assets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic guidance and managing your team effectively
  • Having previous contract catering experience
  • Motivating and guiding your management team and staff daily
  • Setting clear responsibilities and monitoring performance
  • Ensuring food safety and health and safety procedures are followed
  • Communicating regularly with the client
  • Completing action plans based on customer feedback
  • Promoting the unit and representing Compass Group positively
  • Managing stakeholder relationships
  • Delivering hospitality standards and seeking feedback
  • Identifying opportunities for service enhancement
  • Bringing innovation and flair to your service
  • Monitoring budgets and trends, taking corrective actions when needed
  • Meeting customer expectations
