Job Introduction

Chef Manager - Monday to Friday

Hours: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm (flexibility to business needs)
Up to £31,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Location: Salford

This role offers a great work-life balance with a Monday to Friday schedule, allowing you to showcase your culinary skills while leading your site team.

As our Chef Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the breakfast and lunch service along with hospitality, a coffee shop and vending at our client's site. This is a lone working site and there is no parking available on site (good bus and train links).

Your Key Responsibilities:

1. Menu Planning & Execution - Deliver menus tailored to customer preferences, ensuring top-quality food presentation while managing portion control and minimizing waste.
2. Stock & Cost Management - Monitor inventory levels, place sensible orders, and control costs effectively.
3. Customer Engagement - Build strong relationships with clients and customers, gathering feedback to enhance service.
4. Health & Safety Compliance - Maintain a safety-first culture, ensuring all food safety regulations and policies are followed.
5. Financial Oversight - Manage budgets, track financial performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

What We're Looking For:

1. Previous experience as a Chef Supervisor or Chef Manager, ideally within a contract catering environment.
2. Previous experience in carrying out the administrative duties of a Chef Manager.
3. Previous barista experience desired but full training will be provided.
4. Strong track record of delivering high-quality food within specified menus.
5. Experience managing client relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
6. Passion for food and creating memorable dining experiences.
7. Financially savvy, with experience in budgeting and driving commercial performance.
