Job Introduction

We are currently recruiting for a Catering Manager to work at a prestigious workplace site in Bristol.
Location: BS1 5LF
Rate of pay: £36,500 per annum
Working pattern: 40 hours per week, 7am - 3.30pm, Monday - Friday
About The Role:
Our QSD concept aims to bring the High Street feel into the workplace with fresh, nutritious, well-balanced daily meals designed for a fast-paced environment. Gather & Gather also offers weekly hot counter "Pop Ups" including dishes from our Pizza station, along with fresh baked goods and daily office hospitality menus.
As our Catering Manager, you will have a strong chef background combined with a passion for FOH customer service. You will be hands-on, leading from the front, driving standards & customer experience. Ensuring your Head Chef and team use the freshest, seasonal ingredients to create daily menus. You will ensure every cup of coffee is extracted to perfection, baked goods and retail displays are presented to the highest standard, and our customers are at the center of everything we do. You will demonstrate strong coaching skills to support team development and build solid client & customer relationships to grow the business. You will oversee all financials to ensure business targets and budgets are met.
Key responsibilities:
Food and Service Development
• Ensure client expectations for food and service are consistently met and aligned with the CH&CO brand.
• Set clear standards and expectations for staff regarding food and service quality.
• Regularly review and improve the service and food offerings, providing feedback and implementing necessary changes.
Relationship Management
• Be the primary contact for client comments and concerns, taking appropriate action.
• Actively seek and utilize customer feedback to enhance offerings.
Finance
• Achieve financial targets in line with the client agreement and budget.
• Develop strategies to address shortfalls promptly.
• Maximize income through effective purchasing, marketing, and revenue/waste control.
Managing/Developing a Team
• Conduct performance management and appraisals for Front of House staff and the Head Chef.
• Ensure comprehensive induction, training, and ongoing development for staff.
• Identify training needs and coordinate with relevant parties to meet these needs.
Health & Safety
• Stay updated with COSHH and HACCP procedures and ensure compliance.
