Position: Catering Manager

Care home: Shire Oaks Court

Location: 6 Brownhills Road, Walsall Wood, Walsall, WS8 7BP

Contract type: 40 Hours Per Week (weekends may be required)

Rate: £13.27 Per Hour

As Catering Manager, you'll lead our Catering Team in providing healthy and inviting meals for the people we support.

About The Role

Our Catering Managers cook delicious and nourishing meals for people with varied dietary requirements.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Managing the day-to-day running of the kitchen
2. Preparing, cooking, and serving food
3. Understanding people's needs to develop suitable menus
4. Ensuring food hygiene standards are met
5. Completing checks and maintaining records
6. Controlling stock and purchases within budget
7. Leading and supporting your Catering Team, including induction and training

We provide induction, buddy, and ongoing training programs to support those new to the care sector.

About You

We prefer candidates to have or be working towards a Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification. Previous management experience in catering or kitchen environments is essential.
