Job Description

We are hiring a Catering Manager at Dane Royd, Juniors & Infants, Green Hall, Wakefield. The role focuses on providing nutritionally balanced and tasty food for future generations. It is a term-time only position with no weekends, offering great flexibility.

The Role
  • £13.50 per hour
  • 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Term-time only, 38 weeks per year
Your Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting food to standards required by Caterlink and the client
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory and company health and safety, food safety, and environmental regulations
  • Enhancing the company's reputation for excellent food and service through client and customer interactions
  • Managing day-to-day operations, supervising teams, managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
  • Serving as the main contact for the school, recommending and implementing improvements
  • Communicating with your line manager to monitor KPIs and financial targets
  • Supporting and training team members, managing performance, and ensuring all training is completed
