We're recruiting an experienced Catering Manager

We are seeking a passionate Catering Manager who excels in delivering exceptional food and world-class customer service. This role involves confidently overseeing all catering and service operations for a major High Street brand on a full-time basis, contracted for 40 hours per week.

As a Catering Manager, your responsibilities will include ensuring smooth operation of kitchens and service counters and delivering outstanding food experiences. Key Responsibilities

• Preparing high-quality, delicious food
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to maintain excellent food and customer service standards
• Managing the efficiency of catering operations, including inventory, budgets, and action plans
• Communicating with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image
• Identifying opportunities for new food or service concepts to increase sales
• Liaising between customers and teams to exceed expectations
• Supporting and training team members, leading from the front
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards across all catering and service teams

Ideal Candidate

• Passionate about great-tasting food and customer service
• Minimum of two years catering experience
• Experience managing teams in a similar role
• NVQ Level 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 706/1 and 2 qualifications
• Basic Food Hygiene certificate
• Strong financial acumen
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ambitious and motivated, with a desire to upskill
