Brighton Racecourse is on an exciting journey, and we’re looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, and driven Catering Manager to join our team and help shape unforgettable experiences for our guests.

About the Role:

As Catering Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the delivery of high-quality food and beverage services, ensuring operational excellence, and championing outstanding customer service. You’ll play a key role in managing day-to-day operations, implementing health and safety standards, and driving commercial success.

What We’re Looking For:

We want someone who is not only skilled and experienced, but also has a genuine enthusiasm for hospitality and a sharp eye for detail. The ideal candidate will:

  • Have management experience in a high-end food and beverage or restaurant environment.
  • Be highly knowledgeable in licensing, food hygiene, and health & safety standards and their implementation.
  • Hold a Personal Licence (desirable).
  • Be customer-focused with strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Possess the ability to maximise sales opportunities and identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Lead by example in operational standards, with a commitment to excellence and detail.
  • Be IT proficient, especially in Microsoft Office, stock management, and EPOS systems.
  • Be a strong communicator with a team-player mindset and a positive, approachable manner.
  • Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of the role.
