Overview

Catering Manager at Lily Lane Primary School (October 2025). This is a full-time, term-time only role with a pro rata salary in the Grade 5, Scale Point 13 to 19 band.

We are seeking an experienced Catering Manager to lead the kitchen team and deliver fresh, appetising, nutritious meals for pupils and staff while maintaining high standards of health and safety. The position is available for immediate start for a suitably qualified candidate.

Working hours are 35 per week (6.30am to 2.00pm, inclusive of a 30-minute break) term time only, with five additional days allocated across the year for deep cleaning during training days and holidays.

Salary: £28,163 – £31,067 (pro rata for term-time working and dependent on experience).

Location: Lily Lane Primary School, Manchester area.

Appointment is subject to a satisfactory enhanced disclosure (DBS).

Key responsibilities
