Job Introduction

Catering Manager - Loughborough

We are looking for an experienced Catering Manager to lead the delivery of Catering services across site. You will ensure operational excellence, a positive safety culture, and compliance with all relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure a safe environment and promote a strong safety culture.
• Manage all services to meet contractual, hygiene, and compliance standards (NHS, ISO, Food Hygiene).
• Lead, train, and develop a high-performing team, ensuring clear objectives and performance management.
• Build strong client relationships through effective communication and reporting.
• Control budgets, labour, and stock to meet financial targets.
• Conduct audits, address non-compliance, and drive continuous improvement.
• Use company systems to manage schedules, compliance, and reporting.
• Provide cover for other managers and supervisors as needed.

About You:

• Proven experience in facilities or soft services management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of health & safety and compliance requirements.
• Confident managing teams in a demanding environment.

Essential

• Proven operational management experience within a catering environment with sound knowledge of procedural and legislative frameworks
• Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate Level 4.
• HACCP in practice.
• Excellent communication and team management experience.
• Sound financial acumen and experienced in managing budgets and growing sales
• Proven experience in managing direct teams to deliver high quality and customer service standards
• Computer literate and capable of using Microsoft packages
• Good standard of education
