Job description

  • 40 hours per week
  • Shift pattern/hours: any 5 out of 7 days

We are now seeking a Catering Manager to join our team at RAF Odiham in Hook, Hampshire.

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee all catering, hospitality, and retail café operations on-site
  • Manage front-of-house delivery across all messes and support mess bar functions
  • Lead, develop, and support team performance through reviews and training
  • Drive food safety, hygiene, and service excellence in line with Sodexo and client standards
  • Ensure financial targets are met, including margin, sales, and waste control
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to enhance service delivery and build strong relationships

What you bring:

  • Proven experience in catering or hospitality management
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, health and safety regulations
  • Excellent leadership and team development skills
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and stock
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build client and customer relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and catering systems (e.g., Kronos, LeanPath, Drive, CPOS)
