Job summary

Accent Catering Services Ltd in Dagenham RM8 is seeking a Catering Manager to lead the kitchen and develop a high-quality food offer for our secondary school site. You will oversee menu planning, food quality, stock control, compliance and team performance while delivering creative themed days and events.

This role is 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term-time only, with evenings and weekends off and a strong emphasis on work-life balance and professional development within our award-winning

As our ideal Catering Manager you will:-

• Have excellent craft skills and the ability to manage your own kitchen
• Have proven experience of managing, training and leading a team
• Have a proven track record of continually improving standards
• Be passionate about food with excellent culinary skills and a great eye for detail
• Have creativity in developing themed days and pop ups, as well as hospitality and large events
• Have financial and budget awareness, and proven experience in controlling food costs.
• Solid understanding of food safety, health & safety, and allergen management

The ideal candidate will also have the flexibility to work overtime as required.
