Job description

North Bradley C.E. Primary School is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic catering manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the school's catering services, ensuring a high-quality and professional service is provided to pupils, staff, and private clients. You will also need to ensure that all Health & Safety procedures are adhered to at all times. You will be responsible for all aspects of meal planning and ensuring all dietary requirements and nutritional standards are met.

We offer a supportive and caring staff, and delightful, well-mannered children. The successful applicant must be prepared to study a minimum Level 2 NVQ alongside the role.

Responsibilities and requirements include:

  • A good standard of knowledge and skills in catering work.
  • Level 2 food hygiene and safety certificate.
  • Level 2 food allergy awareness.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene procedures.
  • Good communication, teamwork, and staff supervisory skills.

The working hours for this role are 21 hours per week. 09:00 - 14:00, Tuesday - Thursday. 09:00 - 12:00, Monday and Friday. The working hours may be negotiable.
