Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking a catering supervisor for a prison kitchen. You’ll oversee offenders in an industrial kitchen, preparing nutritious meals and helping them gain qualifications. The role is a 37-hour week with a 20% unsocial hours allowance and Band 4 pay (£41,328).

Requirements include Level 2 food production, Level 2 food hygiene, and leadership experience, plus clear English and knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Level 2 food production certificate or equivalent.
• Food hygiene Level 2 certificate.
• Working towards Level 3 or NVQ/City & Guilds 7061/7062.
• Familiar with health, safety and hygiene regulations for kitchen work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee offenders in an industrial kitchen to prepare nutritious meals.
• Demonstrate team leadership in a prison catering environment.
