Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Full-time

Summary:

Fulwood Hall Hospital, opened in 1986 and expanded in 2009 with a £9m investment, is the largest independent hospital in Lancashire. It features six consulting rooms, outpatient and pre-assessment units, modern imaging facilities, and a new physio and sports therapy department.

The role:

We are seeking an experienced Catering/ Housekeeping Team Leader to manage our hospital's housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, broad experience in healthcare or similar environments, and be capable of leading, training, and developing staff to meet high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key duties:

• Supervise, train, and develop Housekeeping and Catering team
• Manage staff rotas, inductions, PDRs, and absences
• Conduct training sessions on COSHH, MRSA cleaning, equipment handling, and health & safety
• Perform hospital cleanliness audits and implement improvements
• Oversee supply and equipment ordering
